Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming curriculum design and instructional content delivery by providing innovative tools that enhance teaching effectiveness, learner engagement, and educational outcomes in the digital age. The research explored the role of artificial intelligence in curriculum design and content delivery and its impact in teaching and learning in the digital age. The study addressed curriculum planning, instructional development, adaptive learning, teacher roles and competence, ethics, challenges, policy implications, and future directions. Using a narrative review of current literature and international policy documents, the paper argues that AI technologies, including generative AI, intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning platforms, and learning analytics, support learner-centred instruction, improve curriculum development, and facilitate data-informed decision-making. The review further identified key challenges to AI adoption, such as inadequate digital infrastructure, limited teacher digital competence, data privacy concerns, algorithmic bias, academic integrity issues, and unequal access to digital technologies. It argued that the effective integration of AI requires robust policy frameworks, sustained investment in digital infrastructure, continuous teacher professional development, ethical governance, and the promotion of AI literacy among educators and learners. The study concluded that AI should serve as a complementary tool that enhances rather than replaces teachers' professional roles. The study suggested, among others, strengthening national AI-in-education policies, improving teacher capacity, ensuring equitable access to AI technologies, and fostering collaboration among governments, educational institutions, and technology developers to
